TransAkcija Institute held the first five-day summer camp in Slovenia for trans* and gender non-conforming people. 18 people joined the camp.
In Slovenia, trans persons often experience a lack of support and sense of community. This results in isolation, especially for people living outside the capital city. The camp aimed to contribute to building a social network for trans persons. And because we funded the camp, TransAkcija was able to invite people from all over the country to join.
During the camp, a wide variety of activities took place. Among these were sports activities, educational workshops, personal counseling, and teambuilding activities.
