ELLES Cameroun organized a broad range of activities for LBT women in Cameroon. Among the activities were sports events, workshops on several topics, movie-screenings, a photo shoot honoring IDAHOT, and an art activity.
They also organized an excursion through the jungle, offering the opportunity to have football matches, picnics, hiking, and many more other activities. ELLES describes one of the soccer matches brilliantly in one of their reports to PlanetRomeo Foundation:
‘It’s 6 am when Laetitia’s whistle sounds in the hotel as a waking sign for each other to get ready for the football game […] a short walk starts with songs of joy to the stadium which is exactly 200 meters from the hotel.’ ‘Once back the breakfast is served and under a soft music all feasted with a lot of pride.’
