Hallo uit Amsterdam!
As we get closer to the end of the year, we wanted to give you, our applicants and donors, a small update on how PlanetRomeo Foundation is doing: What’s happening with the PlanetRomeo Foundation team, what are we working on, and what to expect in the new year.
The PlanetRomeo Foundation Team
PlanetRomeo Foundation is a small non-profit fund, run by volunteers. The entire foundation consists of six executive board members who volunteer their time to support LGBTQ+ projects where it’s needed most. Board members commit to volunteering for three years, and 2025 has seen four of our team come to the end of their tenures. 2026 looks to be a fresh start with new faces on the team and invigorating perspectives on how to help our brothers and sisters around the world.
Looking Forward
As we move towards 2026, expect to hear a lot more from us. From sharing projects our donors are supporting to connecting you to ideas and people that are developing LGBTQ+ communities, we want to be a foundation that nurtures the network of rainbow grassroots movements anywhere it’s needed.
We hope to open up for regular applications again early next year. The realise 2025 has been a bumpy year for everyone, and we want to thank you for your patience as we are doing our best to support as many projects as possible. Whether a donor or community organiser, thank you for the work you are doing for the international LGBTQ+ community. Your efforts save lives, and we are honored to be able to help you make a difference.
