Transgender Resource Center is the only organization based in Hong Kong, which advocates for the rights of transgender people and tries to clarify misconceptions around transgender issues through educational projects.
Since January 2011, TGR has been organizing monthly gatherings for transgender people and organizes and participates in workshops for professionals in the medical field and mental health care, who come in contact with gender identity issues. With our funding, Transgender Resource Center organized 19 educational workshops around the topic transgenderism at schools and churches.
