Association des Lesbiennes Indigentes au Burundi is an association in support of lesbian women in Burundi.
Burundian culture and law are hostile to homosexuality. This counts particularly for lesbian women, according to Association des Lesbiennes Indigentes au Burundi (ALIB),
With our funding, ALIB organizes training workshops for 30 young people: 10 lesbian women, 10 girls, and 10 boys participate. These workshops aim to educate them, as well as train them to become peer educators. Additionally, ALIB holds football and basketball competitions for girls and boys of different sexualities, followed by educational talks.
