PlanetRomeo Foundation is funding a safe house project by a human rights organization in southern Malawi. We can’t reveal the exact name or location of this project because it might put the organization or the participants at risk.
A safe house will be set up in one of the rural districts where LGBTIs who face persecution, harassment, and abuse can seek temporary shelter. With our funding, 5 rooms will be refurbished and furnished, in order to accommodate 10 people.
The shelter will provide them with a safe, inclusive, and caring environment. Also, professional and emotional support will be given to them.
